Sleep	Puts one target to sleep.	10MP
Blizzard	Inflicts weak Ice damage.	6MP

Blizzaga	Inflicts strongest Ice damage.	24MP
Slow	Decreases the rate the target's ATB gauge fills up at.	6MP
Thunder	Inflicts weak Lightning damage.	6MP
Thundara	Inflicts medium Lightning damage.	12MP
Thundaga	Inflicts strongest Lightning damage.	24MP
Stop	Freezes the ATB bar of one target.	8MP
Poison	Will Poison one target.	8MP
Bio	Inflicts Poison damage on one target, and causes poison.	18MP
Osmose	Will steal MP from one target.	2MP
Drain	Will steal HP from one target.	14MP
Demi	Cuts a certain % of target's remaing HP off.	18MP
Comet	Inflicts damage of no type to one target, might miss.	16MP
Death	Instantly kills one target.	20MP
Break	Petrifies one target.	18MP
Water	Inflicts Water elemental damage to all enemies.	22MP
Meteor	Inflicts damage of no type to all enemies; Charge up before casting, might miss.	42MP
Flare	Inflicts strong damage of no type to one target.	40MP
Doomsday	Inflicts shadow damage to all allies and enemies.	72MP

The Colour of Magic - Black!
Black Magic is quite possibly the best skill in this game. Only Vivi can use it, but it's powerful stuff. At the start of the game, he can only cast fire, but later he can use earth-quakingly powerful spells such as Meteor and Doomsday.

Improve your skills!
Vivi's not like the other characters. For him, skills from items aren't just a nice bonus, they're essential. He can't use physical attacks well at all! Vivi NEEDS staves and other items to learn spells from. Otherwise he's absoulutley useless. Go to The Items/Abilities Page to see Vivi's staves (staffs) and the abilities they have.
